OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THE FUND
If you are a first-time subscriber looking to invest directly in the Citadel Value Fund, you will need to open an account with Citadel. This process is facilitated by Citadel’s distributor, Pure Capital. To open an account, you are requested to complete an information form and provide a copy of your passport. In some cases, additional documents may be necessary. You can specify the amount you intend to invest on a separate subscription form.
Depending on your personal circumstances, you have several investment options:
- Based on the total investment amount, you may qualify for either the P-class or the X-class of shares:
P-class shares are for investments below €1 million, with a minimum amount of €10.000.
X-class shares require a minimum investment of €1 million. - You can invest either as an individual (a natural person) or through a legal entity, such as a corporation, association, or foundation.
- There are a few additional options as well. You can invest personally or on behalf of someone else, such as a minor child. This requires a power of attorney to be included. Moreover, you can choose to invest jointly with another person, such as your spouse, by opening a joint account and providing information about both investors.

P or X Class?
Depending on the total amount of investment, investors in the Citadel Value Fund may qualify for either P-class or X-class of shares:
- P-class: for investments up to €1 million, with a minimum amount of €10.000,-. This share class charges a 0.75% annual fixed fee and a 20% fee on annual performance exceeding a 4% hurdle, with a high watermark applying.
- X-class: for investments of €1 million or higher. This share class charges a 0.75% annual fixed fee and a 10% fee on annual performance exceeding a 4% hurdle, with a high watermark applying. Follow-on investments have a minimum of €10.000,-.

Investors can also choose to invest in Citadel Value Fund through their bank, broker, or online trading platform, which should be a straightforward process.
